This week’s Sunday morning email is back to being a channeled message from the divine realms . . . whew!
I hope you enjoy these insights from Archangel Michael and my Spirit Team. I found them a little heavy and serious at first, but they tell us “if you persevere, you will be rewarded with epiphanies of great clarity and joy.” They use this same line (which I love!) in the preface of our book, The Nature of God: The Revelation. Archangel Michael:
GRATITUDE: YOUR SAVING GRACE is the title of this week’s message.
Michelle: Tell me about “saving grace,” please.
Michael: It is the key to transform your life into the life of your dreams. It is the foundation of the Law of Attraction. Remember, you create your own reality. Let me provide some context before we shift our focus to our theme of gratitude.
Before you were born, you planned your life with the help of your angels, guides, ancestors, and God/Source/All That IS. Many decision points allow you to learn and grow and experience contrast, the negative side of energy.
Don’t be afraid though, because there are guardrails to keep you from spinning out of control. God truly never gives you more than you can bear because you chose every point of suffering for your soul’s growth and your highest good. We know this is hard to fathom. You ask, “Why would I choose to lose a spouse or a child or what I thought was my dream job?”
Because you wanted to feel the contrast between the depth of love and the power of despair. We’ll let you sit with this, as it is A LOT TO TAKE IN.
The important point to know that there is a REASON for your suffering.
You may not understand it now, or ever while you are in body, but know that ONE DAY IT WILL BECOME CLEAR TO YOU why you went through the things you endured. This understanding that “everything happens for a reason,” even if the “why” doesn’t make sense to you now, can help you in your time of suffering.
Some of the trials and tribulations you go through are unimaginable. Being human is HARD. You’re not always going to feel gratitude for the difficulties you experience. That’s OK–you don’t have to be grateful every second.
We want you to feel your negative emotions and allow them to serve you. By that we mean, acknowledge them: “I am sad.” “I am angry.” “I wish (fill in the blank) had never happened.” Be in your deep grief as long as you need to. Cry, yell, punch a pillow, scream (with no one nearby so you don’t freak people out . . . LOL), and scream out the frustration, the pain, the suffering.
Be with it and when you are ready, release it. Really LET IT GO.
Write it on a piece of paper and burn it. Put it in a balloon and set it free. We’re not a fan of the toxic plastic, but you get the idea. Do something to truly FEEL and LET GO. Please know this is not a one-time occurrence. It is a lifelong process . . . with ebbs and flows of feeling and releasing.
Then, and ONLY THEN, do we want you to move into a state of grace, which is what gratitude is. A place of surrender. A place of faith, hope, trust, and yes, LOVE. A feeling of being humbled and awed by the beauty and abundance in your life—whatever that may be for you.
EVERYONE has something to be grateful for.
Make a list. Get into the practice of writing it down every day. Noting at least one thing you are grateful for will start the shift in perspective and focus—and THAT IS WHERE THE MAGIC HAPPENS😇. When you are in a state of grace—joyful and happy—we can bring joyful and happy experiences into your life.

How do you do this?
By shifting your focus. If your focus is “woe is me and my life sucks,” guess what? That will be your experience. If your focus is “Sometimes I have tough times, but at my core I know I am good and that God/Universe/Source/All That Is loves me and wants what is best for me,” then you will experience joy, freedom, abundance, fulfillment, and success.
Don’t take our word for it—TRY IT! Learn from your own experience and just SEE WHAT HAPPENS😊!
